Project Information

The design is a sketch of a design prepared during an international competition for the Turkish Embassy in Berlin, but could not be delivered. It expresses the transformation of the idea of creating a new identity by preserving the cultural characteristics and contrasts between the European identity and the Turkish identity in design. In the sketches, the rationality that symbolizes Europe begins with a more rational building form at one end and transforms into a fluid form expressing our own culture, which is more emotional and humane at the other end, symbolizing the possibility of creating a new identity and living together.
