This health campus was the first major PPP hospital to be opened by the Ministry of Health in Turkey. NKY delivered all architectural and engineering design within this integrated campus and carried out all the medical planning. The specialist health units consist of maternity, children, cardiovascular, psychiatry and oncology hospitals. There is also a car park facility with capacity for 3800 vehicles. Mersin City Hospital was rated as an HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) Stage-6 facility –what is dubbed as ‘Digital Hospital’, by the Turkish Ministry of Health and the international non-profit organization for digital hospital qualifications, HIMSS.
