Concept Project
The project area has a difficult topography in İzmir Bayraklı region. The area with 45 and 50 degree inclinations makes a specific campus design necessary. For this purpose, the campus project consists of two graduated terraces-alley that are constructed in accordance with the topography. All the campus buildings located on the back of both alleys are opened to the view. This is a by-product intended for design purposes. At the same time, the dual alley structure provides an advantage for construction. The necessity of planning as linear and adjacent order in terms of topography structure and construction economy brings together the advantage of operating economy. Campus transportation has been minimized due to the completely pedestrian-oriented transport strategy. Sustainable and secure campus is aimed and passive and efficient energy strategies are prioritized in planning.
