The Başakşehir Çam & Sakura City Hospital includes a 2,354-bed Main Hospital, a 200-bed Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital and a 128-bed Psychiatric Hospital and 1 million m2 total construction area. The Campus consists of a Main Hospital, a Psychiatric Hospital, a Rehabilitation Hospital and a Technical Services Building. The Başakşehir Çam & Sakura City Hospital is recognized as the “World’s Largest Seismically Isolated Building” with 2,040 seismic isolators which are installed in its main hospital building. The Concept Design is prepared in the U.S.A. and all other works are being executed in Turkey. It will also serve as Istanbul’s main care center in the unfortunate case of a possible earthquake.
