The structure planned for Gimat (Ankara Wholesalers Association of Food and Necessary Items) in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara has a two-stage structure. The first stage is the gross market that meets the definition of the actual task of the association. Gross market consists of two parts in itself. The first part is reserved for retail wholesale, while the second part is devoted to a contemporary market. The second stage is mixed-use business, accommodation and shopping center. There are offices, hotels and accommodation on the floors of tower, there are shops, eating, drinking, and social areas on the ground floor and associated areas. The project presents an alternative model that can respond to the current intense and evolving trade structure of the region with its architectural and spatial language.
