The design of Bilkent Integrated Health Campus –which NKY Architects has been working for quite a while over the concept design, construction drawings and detailing, has been approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. All final design works will be completed by NKY towards the end of June 2016. The biggest healthcare campus in Europe and in the World under a single contract, Bilkent Integrated Health Campus contains numerous specialty hospitals over a construction area of approximately 1,129,289 million square-meters. The campus will accomodate a General Hospital, a Women’s & Pediatric Hospital, an Oncology Hospital, a Cardiovascular Hospital, a Neurological Hospital, a High Security Psychiatric Hospita, a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital; as well as the new Headquarters for the Ministry of Health. With a total bed count of 3.704, the campus will be built by DIA and operated by Bilkent Healthcare Investment for 25 years.
